Government Rejects False Claims

Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting strongly denied a recent report from Indian media that claimed the country was preparing to send 20,000 troops to Gaza and had removed the “Not valid for Israel” clause from its passports.

The ministry described these reports as false, misleading, and politically motivated, emphasizing that Pakistan’s foreign policy on Israel remains unchanged and firm. Officials clarified that Pakistan does not recognize Israel and no kind of military cooperation or discussion is taking place.

Passport Clause Still Intact

The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports confirmed that the statement on Pakistani passports remains the same and still reads:
“Valid for all countries except Israel.”

The government reaffirmed that this clause is a clear reflection of Pakistan’s consistent stance on the issue and that no changes have been made or are under consideration.

Clarification on Gaza Troop Decision

Regarding reports of troops being sent to Gaza, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said the decision is still under process and has not been finalized yet.

He stated that the government would consult Parliament and key institutions before making any official move. According to the minister, if Muslim nations collectively agree to form a peace force for Gaza, Pakistan would consider joining with pride to protect and support the Palestinian people.

Pakistan’s Stance on Palestine

Pakistan has always expressed strong support for Palestine and continues to back the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders with Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) as its capital.

The government once again urged the public and media to rely only on verified statements and official updates, avoiding politically driven or false claims that aim to create confusion.
