Salman Agha Accuses India of \u201cDisrespecting Cricket\u201d<\/h2>\n

Pakistan\u2019s captain Salman Ali Agha<\/strong> has criticized India\u2019s conduct during the Asia Cup 2025<\/strong>, accusing the team of showing \u201cdisrespect to cricket\u201d<\/strong> after refusing to accept the Asia Cup trophy<\/strong> and avoiding handshakes in front of cameras.<\/p>\n

Speaking after Pakistan\u2019s five-wicket defeat in the final<\/strong>, Agha said Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav<\/strong> shook hands with him in private meetings<\/strong> but not in front of the media.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe shook hands with me privately at the pre-tournament press conference and during the referee\u2019s meeting. But when the cameras were on, he didn\u2019t. I believe he\u2019s following instructions, not his own choice,\u201d Agha told reporters in Dubai.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Trophy Controversy Deepens Political Tensions<\/h2>\n

The controversy escalated when the Indian team refused to receive the Asia Cup trophy<\/strong> from Mohsin Naqvi<\/strong>, Pakistan\u2019s Interior Minister, PCB Chairman, and ACC President<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
